

Elizabeth is a youth prevention specialist, Life Skills program teacher to k-12 students, and behavioral therapy technician in the classroom, clinical, and home settings.
She enjoys developing creative ways to help support the independent success of students.
Elizabeth loves to travel, especially to visit her family and future home in Belize where she recently initiated an international school supplies drive.
Jocelyn is currently a special education paraeducator, who has worked one-on-one with K-5 students for two years. She is also a part-time blog writer and pursuing her degree in English/Teaching English as a Second Language. Eventually, she hopes to travel overseas and teach abroad.
Jocelyn has a love for the English language and aims to spark the same excitement in her students. She is a welcoming and patient tutor who finds joy in helping learners grow!

Laura has 14 years of experience teaching multiple subjects to elementary school students.
She is currently a 4th and 5th grade English/Language Arts teacher.
She has spent her career working to help students develop the love of reading and writing that was instilled in her as a child.
She truly believes that being a strong reader and writer can open up the world!
Laura has a BS in Special Education and a Master's in teaching Reading and Language Arts.
Deborah Teacher teaches multiple subject areas to 4th and 5th grade students. Her favorite subjects to teach are Science and Reading. Education is her lifelong passion and she hopes to share that with all of her students!
She loves traveling with her husband, and her most recent trip overseas was to Japan. Exploring different countries and cultures help us learn more about other people, as well as ourselves. She hopes to visit more countries in the future!


Megan is an excellent Conversation Tutor for intermediate and advanced students.
She is studying English education, linguistics, and international studies.
Megan has visited South Korea and Indonesia.
Traveling is her passion and she plans to do much more soon!
Brock is currently a third grade English teacher specializing in writing and grammar.
Soon after taking his first job at YMCA as a young camp counselor, Brock knew he wanted to devote himself to teaching and mentoring young people.

Takima has 7 years of experience as a behavioral therapist and works within a school district. During her time teaching, she mainly focused on students’ language development (e.g., reading and writing). Her expertise is helping students develop healthy learning behaviors. She has a TOSEL certification and is presently pursuing a Master’s degree.
Takima continues to earn trust and praises from her students by being approachable, kind, and wonderfully caring.
Nick 10 years of tutoring experience and is also a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. He's always had a passion for math and believes it is a fundamental part of setting up for success.
While teaching math and scuba diving are very different, both have helped Nick realize that student-centered teaching is most effective.
Nick's passion for Math is second only to his passion for travel, which has landed him in Fiji, Palau and more for work and for fun!
